The Nassau County Fire Marshall’s Office is the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) for Nassau County with regards to fire alarm systems.
All fire detection systems including residential monitored temperature detectors and smoke detectors require a Fire Marshall’s permit in Nassau County.
The fee schedule for automatic fire alarms are as follows:
